If you tried to “sit with your emotions” but found them to be too overwhelming…

Then this practical mini-course is for you.

You’ll learn to:

 âœ…Understand the role emotions play in your wellbeing

 âœ…Understand components of emotions

 âœ…Sit with emotions in a healthier way

 âœ…Ground and self-sooth yourself through mindfulness and self-compassion

By the end of this course you will be able to:

🟢Reduce intensity of emotion

🟢Improve distress tolerance

🟢Sit through your emotion

The course is practical and interactive and combines both theory and evidence-based skill development. The course is run by a registered psychologist, however it is not a replacement of therapy, but rather a complement or extension of therapy aimed at building emotional awareness and resilience. The course is run in a small group format (4-10 participants) to reduce cost for participants and allow effective support.
 

The course was designed for adults. It does not interfere with any therapeutic modalities, religions/spirituality. If you have a referral from GP or psychiatrist, you might be eligible for Medicare rebate (and it does not interfere with the 10 sessions with your regular psychologist).

This course might not be suitable for people affected by:

🔴Severe trauma

🔴Dissociation

🔴Borderline personality disorder

🔴Active suicidal/self harming ideation

🔴Active psychosis

🔴Severe anorexia

(Consult your therapist or contact us if you are affected by these conditions but would like to participate in the course)

 

Format & length:

Four weekly small group (4-10 participants) sessions, available face to face and online

Each session is 1 hour (starting from session 2 - plus free 10-15 minutes aftercare exercise in the end – optional for participants)

Cost:

Affordable cost of $50 per session x 4 = $200 (paid upfront, no refunds). You might be eligible for a Medicare rebate – please consult your GP.
